During the treatment, you will feel minimal discomfort as your provider will topically numb your skin prior to the laser. Your provider will treat section by section of your face or other areas by rolling the Halo handpiece in a crisscross pattern. For the first 24 hours, your skin will have a warm sensation and possibly some swelling. After 24 hours, your skin will begin to lightly peel, which can take up to 5 days depending on your level of treatment, but you will be able to put makeup on. 

You will see initial results between days 2 and 5 after your HALO treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest improvement in the first 2-3 weeks. The best time of year to get this treatment done is typically the fall and wintertime as the sun is not as prevalent as it is during the summer.
